Spinal bifida

Spinal bifida is a developmental birth defect caused by the incomplete closure of the neural tube. Some parts overlying the spinal cord are not fully formed and remain unfused and open. Hank Williams had some form of spinal bifida which gave him this aching back. His long drives in the backseat of his car crowded with bandmembers worsened the case.
