Charles Carr

The driver of the car in which Hank Williams died was still in his teens when he was confronted with a dead countrysinger in the backseat. As main witness he has been questioned during his life up till now. What happened in the hotel in Knoxville? Was there another driver involved? Why did they leave the hotel in Knoxville in the middle of the night? Many journalists asked these questions and he answered them politely. Recently, in 2009, he gave an interview which is now sold at the Hank Williams Museum in Montgomery AL..

Despite his answers there is still room for speculations. Its though to reconstruct Hank Williams' last days in 1952.
