4/6/49-Hank's first publicity photos taken in Shreveport.  The photo used for the Hank Williams stamp was taken on this day.
4/17/49-Hank attends picnic with Kitty Wells and Johnnie Wright at Caddo Lake outside Shreveport, Gets drunk.  Later that night Audrey calls Johnny Wright because she's afraid to be with Hank in the house.  He has passed out-it's discovered he had taken almost an entire bottle of tranquilisers.  Doctor is called, wakes Hank up and asks him how many pills he took-his reply "You know too damn much [many]."
