3/28/49-Wesley Rose sends Hank a letter asking him to send him the records he has of Rex Griffin singing Lovesick Blues and "Emmett something-or other" (Emmett Miller) so Acuff Rose can figure out who actually wrote the song.
4/3/49-Shreveport Times newspaper publishes article mentioning Hank's first airplane ride on 3/20.
4/4/49 MOLLY O'DAY RECORDS ON THE EVENING TRAIN
4/6/49-Hank's first publicity photos taken in Shreveport.  The photo used for the Hank Williams stamp was taken on this day.
4/17/49-Hank attends picnic with Kitty Wells and Johnnie Wright at Caddo Lake outside Shreveport, Gets drunk.  Later that night Audrey calls Johnny Wright because she's afraid to be with Hank in the house.  He has passed out-it's discovered he had taken almost an entire bottle of tranquilisers.  Doctor is called, wakes Hank up and asks him how many pills he took-his reply "You know too damn much [many]." 
4/18/49-4/22/49-Hank tours Louisiana and Texas on a Shreveport Chamber of Commerce sponsored show.  people who see him this week note he has some bruises on his head-most likely from a post-drunk fight with Audrey.
